One of the reasons why I chose to become a Realtor, is to share with others the things I love most about living in Truckee and North Lake Tahoe. To accommodate Buyers and Sellers on both sides of the lake, I am a licensed Broker Associate in California with Coldwell Banker Residental and a Licensed Realtor in Nevada with Lake Shore Realty.

John Biebl has been a full-time Truckee resident since 1996 and a Realtor since 1997. A previous co-owner of a locally grown business, "Second Home Care," for 12 years, John has an in-depth knowledge of Truckee's local economy and housing trends over 2+ decades. His experience building several spec homes has allowed him to confidently guide his clients through the home buying, building, and selling process.
John grew up in Stillwater, MN, near the Twin Cities, a small town with a similar historical and tourist feel to Truckee and attended his first year of college at the University of MN-Duluth before transferring to the University of Oregon. After graduating with a B.S. in Sociology and Geography in 1994, he left Oregon and traveled to Alaska, Utah, and New Zealand. While traveling in these places, he realized he wanted to live in an area that provided outdoor recreation and beautiful rugged scenery. The opportunity came when John came to Truckee in 1996 to visit his college friend Jeremy Schneir. Jeremy invited John to work with his new company Second Home Care, Inc. John's involvement with Second Home Care, Inc. allowed him to develop a thorough understanding of the Tahoe area real estate market, all aspects of home maintenance, new construction, new developments, and regional growth. John's goal is to understand his client's goals and ensure that they are informed about the different aspects to consider when owning a second home and the current market trends. His clients benefit from his experience selling over 1000 properties and his unique knowledge from years as a Tahoe Donner resident. When he's not in the office, you can expect to find John, his wife, and his daughter out with their Border Collie Scout mountain biking in the summer or XC skiing in the winter.
